Hi everyone! The long awaited  development build for Shape Shifters is out now! First, I want to thank everyone who has taken time out of their day to read my devlogs, whether you started with Devlog #1 or this is your first time reading, you're all greatly appreciated!

As this is an in development game it is far from perfect. I would love to hear everyone's feedback and bug reports, we can all work together to make Shape Shifters a better game!

Now, let's get onto the good stuff. First I'll be giving you an overview of what Shape Shifters is and what you can expect in this development build. Then I'll go into my plans for the future. 

What is Shape Shifters?

Shape Shifters is a 2.5D action sidescroller set in a world inhabited by basic shapes! You'll play as a cube named Fora on his journey to destroy the mutants and learn the truth hidden at the heart of this world. You'll explore a massive cave system, fight hordes of mutants, defeat challenging bosses, and upgrade Fora in a variety of ways throughout your adventure! 

Plans for the future

With this release, I'll be listening closely to everyone's feedback and make changes and adjustments to make Shape Shifters a better experience for everyone! I'd love to really polish and solidify the content that already exists before doing any major content updates to the game. I really can't stress enough how important your feedback and bug reports are for this. I've even added a forum for the game where everyone can report bugs and discuss the game so please make use of it! 

I'll be updating the game at least once every week. 

Some changes you might see soon are 

• A complete rework of the Goliath miniboss.
• Different portraits and  dialogue boxes for each character
• Lore text to be found throughout the map         

 This of course, doesn't include general polish updates, bug fixes, and implementation of your feedback!

I plan on updating this game for years to come until it's a complete experience that'll blow you away!
